The director of the foundation, Viktor Anisimov, presented a report on the work of the Kuban Science Foundation in the past year and tasks for the next year. One of the main activities of the foundation in 2020 was to support scientific research on priority positions in the development of science, technology and technology aimed at the socio-economic development of the region, through the allocation of grants to research teams. In the first year of its activity, the foundation held 4 competitions of scientific projects, as a result of which 68 projects were supported.

The Expert Council of the Kuban Science Foundation was formed, which included 236 leading scientists from 59 scientific and educational organizations of 19 constituent entities of the Russian Federation. In addition, the fund held events of a scientific and educational nature: the regional scientific and practical conference "Modern educational technologies in mathematical and digital education: topical issues of theory, methodology and practice", the reporting conference of grant holders "Priorities of Kuban science: modern approaches and topical research", festival "Science 0+ Kuban", Festival of topical scientific cinema-FANK, etc.
