On May 28, in the innovation center "Aquarium", the Kuban Science Foundation held an event dedicated to the celebration of the 100th anniversary of the birth of A.D. Sakharov: A.D. Sakharov. - a man of the era ”.
On the relevance and importance of the legacy of A.D. Sakharov Ekaterina Olegovna Loskutova, Deputy Director of the Kuban Science Foundation, addressed the audience. She stressed that Sakharov's thought is more relevant now than ever and his figure is needed more than ever - the figure of a thinker, politician, public figure, scientist, humanist and citizen.

The event experts were:
Samover Natalya Vladimirovna - Curator of the Sakharov Center Museum;
Petrov Vladimir Ivanovich - Associate Professor of the Department of Russian History of the Federal State Budgetary Educational Institution of Higher Education "Kuban State University", Candidate of Historical Sciences.

The experts told about the history of Andrei Dmitrievich's life, his formation as a scientist and human rights activist. We discussed with the participants of the event Sakharov's contribution to the development of hydrogen energy, his role in the development of Russia, achievements in the field of human rights protection.
